past the first hurdle? We will discuss some of the simple but fatal “red flag”
mistakes that screenwriters make – and how to avoid them.

enliven responses, expand personal expression, while developing
observational skills. The workshops offer an open, supportive and relaxed

Gide: La symphonie pastorale

Nobel prize winner in 1947, André Gide exerted a tremendous influence on
French literature and achieved an extraordinary degree of freedom which
fascinated the surrealists. We will analyse and discuss La symphonie pastorale,
a topical novel nearly a century after its publication.
