Workshops this Weekend (14 & 15 November)

Just a quick reminder that there are still spaces available in the following workshops this weekend (please book by 1pm the day before to secure your place):

Collaged Figure
with Peter Mutschler
Saturday 14 November  • 11.30am-4.30pm  • £25/£20
Correctness and proper representation do not matter, but expression and
feeling do. Small-scale table exercises with the human figure as a reference for
collaged images. A playful way to get into life drawing, have fun and be
inventive: a bucket as a head, four arms and a crocodile for a foot. Please bring
scissors, magazines and newspapers. 16 + years

Italy
with Dr Barbara Renzi
Saturday 14 November  • 11am-2pm  • £18/£15
Would you like to know more about Italy? This workshop is designed to take
a deeper look into the art, history and culture and will take you on a brief
but interesting cultural journey across many different regions.

Page to Stage: Major Playwrights of the 20th
Century: Arthur Miller

Sunday 15 November  • 2pm-4pm  • £13/£11
One of the most significant writers of the 20th century. Discuss his
influences, Greek Tragedy to Ibsen, and examine major themes and ideas
including loyalty, conscience & capitalism. We will perform selected scenes
from The Crucible and Death of a Salesman.
