This course will introduce students to the basics of popular bass performance. You will learn your first riffs with some technique- building exercises and begin playing songs chosen by the teacher (alongside students own choices). If using electric bass please bring amplifier.

For bassists with a basic song repertoire and wish to improve their understanding of the instrument and its music. Improvise with scales and expand repertoire with new songs and riffs in a variety of styles. If using electric bass please bring amplifier. Music stands and electronic tuners are strongly recommended.
